We had such a fun time when Grandma and Grandpa Nicholes came to visit us this past weekend. We played games, chatted, ate yummy food, and mostly just gushed over how cute little Calvin was.
Grandma offered to give Calvin a bath - something I wouldn't ever say no to! She loved spending quality time with her grandson. I think Calvin enjoyed having some new people to smile at and "talk" to. He soaked the attention right up!
After his bath came the lotion all over his poor dry skin. This climate is killer!
It was so fun to see everyone expressing their love for my little baby!
His hair is so funny. He's almost completely bald on top, except for longer strands that come in at the bottom of his head. He looks like a monk or something. I really hope his hair grows in soon! Little baldie.
The patented "Aunt Sue" hold for when Calvin started to get a little fussy.
This is his "I'm tired!" face. His eyes get a little droopy and red and he starts to turn his face away from lights and people. Bedtime, mister!

Grandma and Grandpa gave Calvin a piggy bank so he could start saving up for his mission. I can already tell this kid will be a diligent saver.
Grandpa was feeling a little sick, so he had to bond with Calvin without holding him. No problem! We just put Calvin in his napper and he was happy as can be. I was so proud of how well-behaved this little guy was the whole weekend. He just was content and happy to feel all the love that surrounded him.
It's always fun when grandparents come! Where did you get that napper!? Is that what it is really called? If I had one of those I could have avoided my kids sleeping in their car seats! We are coming to Utah in 4 days! Will you guys be around?
